IL-2 Battle of Moscow

This one was released a couple of weeks back as a standalone sim or as a DLC for Battle of Stalingrad (Steam version).

It's good to be back in the "Rata" (I-16), the nimble rascal in which I spent so many hours of flight simulation back when Oleg Madox was in the corner office.

Scourge of War Quatre Bras - Friedrich von Specht's Though Afternoon

Though scenario! It is no joke to patch up the damage that the Duke of Wellington's complete inaction has brought during the crucial hours of June 16th 1815 is no joke. So here I am in the digital version of the saddle of von Specht and his line infantry brigade.

Moving through the town of  Quatre Bras, my first Line Battalion on its way to glory or defeat. In the background, soldiers of the 9th Regiment on Foot (9th Infantry Division).

Graviteam Tactics Fall Blau - Second Battle Video AAR

The second battle video AAR is up, fellows. After my enveloping maneuver (which I am not sure it succeeded, look at the last part of the video), the Soviets counter-attacked.

With just two platoons of infantry available, I chose a very optimistic deployment -one platoon forward, a second one as a reserve- and waited for the attack. I was not allowed to dig in, I suppose because my troops were just pulled out from the previous dawn attack. But the treeline offered some sort of cover and concealment.

Team Weber - Steel Beasts ProPE 4.0 - AAR, Part 1

This is an AAR for a custom-made, cold war scenario for Steel Beasts ProPE 4.0.

This is a rather non-typical mission and team.

Steel Beasts ProPE 4.0 - Downtown with BMP-2s

The new version of Steel Beasts is out and there are so many new toys to play with.

This is some footage from a custom mission in which as a Soviet platoon commander I am engaging a US blocking position.

You can also watch it in high resolution at YouTube.com.

Cheers,

Graviteam Tactics Fall Blau - First Battle Video AAR

My first battle ended in a draw. In my rush to encircle the Soviets, I forgot to recon their positions an was ambushed.

This a dawn battle. Stay tuned for the second one, which is during the early morning.

Cheers,

Arma 3 - Tanoa Recon Missions

The jungle environment is unforgiving for the infantry. I'm just educating myself in the art of getting into contact without getting killed.

I edited a short video, hoping that you would find it useful and if not at least to treat yourself to the sights of the jungles of Tanoa.

Flashpoint Latvia Episode 5 - The Operational Art of War III - Grim Prospects of War

This narrative is fictional. No political point is intended. The images are from a custom-made scenario, which I intend to play and report as part of this series.

With an order of battle barely longer than a party guest list, the Latvian National Armed Forces brace for a Russian-led  "liberation of Russian peoples" in the Ludza and Rezekne Districts.

The peacetime deployment in the Latvian eastern districts include two National Guard Battalions. Here shown as yellow counters, the 25th Infantry Battalion stationed in Rezekne and the 32 Infantry Battalion stationed in Ludza. The artillery unit in the west is the 34rd Artillery Battalion.
