This is definitely a spiritual successor to the old DOS games, Tigers On The Prowl and Panthers In The Shadows.
Absolutely amazing in 2011 that a game like this does NOT include any kind of internet play. Two player hotseat is like some kind of throwback to the 1970s.
I had play this one but now I am addicted to play Stargate SG-1. The game-play experience with this Game for the upcoming interactive adventure for iOS and Android in March 2013, Stargate SG-1: Unleashed. Check this out.

I went back to the HPS website. Yes, there is 2 player PBEM. But there is no option for direct connect or LAN play.
Again, my apologies.
Anyone played this yet? Some of the posts over at the wargamer site make it sound like it isn't ready for primetime just yet.
