Command Modern Air/Naval Operations - Soviet Diesel Submarine vs NATO Convoy

I had this one stuffed in the hard drive for a year or so (!?). It is a simple scenario for you to practice submarine attacks against surface targets (playable only as the Soviets) and with some degree of randomization maintaining a high chance of a productive encounter.

Please grab the scenario from my support website at:

Just click on the link on the name of the file.

Cheers,

DCS Su-27 - The Ultimate Argument Campaign

This payware campaign is certainly well delivered. The voice overs, the virtual environment and the narrative is quite good.

The Ultimate Argument reminds me a lot about the missions of Flanker 2.5. The increased complexity and challenge at each mission, the sense of accomplishment whenever I complete one. It's all there again. For ten bucks, it's quite a bargain.

Battle Command - Clearing Salmunster is to Die For

Battle Command, the ultimate tactical combat simulation continues to be the treat of my gaming diet.

This weekend and for once I was happy with my level of interface skills. I modified the looks of my counters to my liking and was ready to roll the troops onto Salmunster. Tactical wisdom did not get a ride along with my vehicles ...

ArmA 3 - Fighting in Woods

So intense was my longing of real life hardware that I broke my rule of not patching. I installed Red Hammer Studios' Escalation and geez it was worth every megabit of it.

Armed with a virtual reality that has recovered a big chunk of reality, I went out to a wooded area in Altis to try out something I heard during the weekend at the airsoft field.

Combat Mission Red Thunder - The Tank Attacks at Top Speed

The title of this post is taken from paragraph 256, Part VIII of the Combat Regulations for the Tank and Mechanized Troops of the Red Army (1994). You can get a copy of the translated document from Battlefront.com.

Cavalry men riding a tank. That's 26 tons of steel and pun.
The scenario is from the plain vanilla version of the game. I think the name of the scenario is Baranovichi and there are some spoilers ahead.

DCS Hawk T1.a Beta by VEAO Simulations

This beta was released in a too much premature state to fulfill the fun and training needs of the common enthusiast. For the time being is poised to be liked just by the most hardcore fans of the famous trainer.

Steel Beasts ProPE - The Far Side of a Canal Flank

I had so much fun editing this scenario that I have to share it. I've just submitted it to SteelBeasts.com and it will be available for download soon.

A cavalry troop finds itself on the wrong side of a canal. The race is on for a crossing. At stake is not only the flank of the main body but the lives of your troopers.

Steel Beasts ProPE Has Been Updated to 3.023

Steel Beasts keeps getting better. The new 64 bit version runs very smoothly and the cumbersome connectivity of yesteryear is no more.

The video above is footage from the testing of a mission I am editing. Check out the YouTube for a high definition version of it.

See you in Fulda!
