I'm a little torn. At first I really disliked it, mostly since I had JS turned off and it was blank and I'm quite fearful of change! However, it's quite stylish.
I'm not a fan of the "raised post" thing, but it does make the layout quite pretty. I do miss being able to quickly scan the articles, but I can get that from the RSS feed list I guess.
Smaller thumbnails have a slightly less impact too. I've always enjoyed the high quality screenshots you take of all your games.
It's worth sticking with for a while I guess? :)
Actually, after previewing this comments section is a real pain! heh Maybe if the box was larger? There's just too many pages over pages and having to scroll to the side as it is now.
Yes at first it was also a bit heavier for old browser or machines and so I couldn't read it with my old laptop, but it is still possible to reverse and read it the old way just in case. It is anyway very stylish for who can see it properly . And the content well it's up to you and it is always class! Thanks mate
Not sure I like how the posts are displayed when you read them. I think it's the lack of navigational info.
On the home page the navigation bar covers up the title of the first post. When I move my mouse over the title the navigation bar bounces around. (I'm using Chrome - it looks fine in Firefox)
Overall though, I like the new look - it appears cleaner to me.

ReplyDeleteThis is more modern looking but personally I liked the old, simple and lightweight view of the articles. In either case: keep up the good work :)
ReplyDeleteLiked the older design as it flowed better. Still a great site and I'll follow regardless.
ReplyDeleteI like the new layout bit more modern looking, clean and functional.
ReplyDeleteI quite like it. Reminds me of a streamlined newspaper--One with more substance than most dailies can claim nowadays.

I very much dislike it. Please go back.
ReplyDeleteThis new look doesn't work very smoothly from an older computer here. I do miss the previous look.
ReplyDeleteNice, clear.
ReplyDeleteBut heavy for my older computer as well - at first I couldn't access the site at all anymore (black screen) - seems to be fixed now - oef
Best rgds, Koen
It's nice but I prefer your old template. The page seems to load a tad faster than with the new one.
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy reading your articles.
