Combat Mission Shock Force 2 (Demo) - Wilcox Scenario -Video AAR- Episodes 1 and 2
I played this Combat Mission Shock Force 2 (Demo) scenario against my friend Olaf. This is a though scenario for both sides. The Syrians, short on mobility but with plenty of places to hide their RPGs, AT-14s and just 3 BMPs. In Olaf hands, quite lethal.
The US Army with a company team and all the tracked armor you can ask for, but short on dismounts to take on a semi-built area with interlocking firing positions.

Graviteam Tactics: Operation Moduler - Pantserskool I
There is one law of nature, and one iron law that the Boer never forgets, that the answer to superior forces is greater mobility.
The South African Defense Forces have been serving its staple dish of high mobility-high tempo operations with a side of maneuver warfare since a long time ago.

CMANO, Kuril Sunrise - The "Gotcha!" Becoming a "Got Me!"
I'm playing the Kuril Sunrise DLC as the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force/Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
You can read the detailed briefing a few lines below. But to make a long story short my mission is to stop a Russian convoy with our meager forces consisting of diesel submarines, a nimble division of destroyers and assorted air assets which consist of F-15Js, F4s and just three P-3 Orions. The Russians will cover the move of the convoy with one frigate, a bunch of older corvettes and an undetermined number of nuclear submarines.

DCS MiG-29 - Taming the Fulcrum-C
The Mig-29 has become available as an early access aircraft for both owners (free) and non-owners ($15.00) of the Flaming Cliffs 3 DLC.
The big selling points are an upgrade in the flight model (the so-called professional flight model), some instant action missions, a campaign and going to battle against the F/A-18 Hornet with a true-to reality flight model. Still, it is a Flaming Cliffs 3 aircraft with no clickeable cockpit.

Battles of North Africa 1941 - Fighting the Wrong Engagements and Using the Enemy's Doctrine
John Tiller Software - Wargame Design Studio - Battles of North Africa 1941
Status: beta
Release date: unknown, but soon
I already mentioned in that I'm fighting the Mersa el Brega scenario in the beta of Battles of North Africa.
Battle is all good and dandy and then all of the sudden I realize that I'm commanding the Germans and fighting like a British!

Graviteam Tactics: Raid - Book Time!
A short video about books worth noting for the historical aspects of the operation depicted in the Raid DLC for Graviteam Tactics Mius Front.
I am playing the Raid operation, but after getting the two books mentioned in the video I'm thinking about re-starting the thing all over. Now that I think about it, a raid should be conducted without too much fuss about lines of communications. What's your take on it?
Cheers,

Combat Mission Shock Force 2 - Demo is Out
A demo loaded with a grand total of 6 hours 40 minutes of simulated tactical combat is now available.
Featuring US Army, US Marines, British and German forces, the demo will transport the player to combat in both open terrain and built-up areas. For those veterans who played the original Shock Force (2007), the cumulative changes that the game engine has gone through will be very evident.
