I got this one on release. I realy want to love this game as I think it has potential but I think the biggest drawback is the missing manual. There simply is none, only a Quick Guide and a quirky ingame Training mode. As I read on the Graviteam site they cant translate the russian manual. The ingame translation is also not the best. I also think the Infantry AI isnt good. When I set up an defense perimeter some guys start walking into the open but maybe Iam missing something, but ofcourse theres no manual. After fiddling around now for 2 days I noticed that I started giving up on this one. Shame as I think its potentialy good.
This is my favorite rts game for the Russian front.Sure it's difficult to learn but it's worth the effort.I love the idea that I don't have to micro manage every individual unit and the maps are large and well done(not cartoony)plus the fact there is an operations phase for campaigns that add a whole new dimension and perspective to economy of force and planning. If you haven't given this game a try and like tactical combat on the Russian front then you really are short changing yourself for not at least trying the demo.

Loved your review of Achtung Panzer Kharkov '43 -- hope you will get to Op. Star as well!
Thanks! I will get Op. Star and review it sometime this month.

Hi Seydlitz,
Thanks for your comment. The language issue has been terrible for Kharkov 1943 too. That's an easy fix that I see they didn't care about. Hmmm ...
