Historicon 2013 - Pictures

What a fantastic convention! It is the first time I attend to a convention themed around a hobby (I have attended more scientific meetings that I want to acknowledge ...) and boy, this one was fun.

I drove down to Frederiscksburg, VA (USA) for a one-day visit. This convention is for miniatures gaming, something I have never covered in the blog before. So this is not any sort of "coverage" of the convention. It's just a few pictures I took and that I want to share.

The highlight of the day was meeting the good people from Matrix Games. They had a big display booth at the convention. But that's the matter of another blog entry.

Cheers,

ah Miniatures, that is what I do. The realism is variable in miniature unlike the simulators but its also much harder to get all the bits and pieces ready for a game.

the computer is a much more attractive medium to use, requires a lot less work, though perhaps more knowledge of how the systems work. Also on the hole is costs less.
