North German Plain 85 / Steel Beasts ProPE - OPORD is In!

Do you remember this crazy idea? It was about fighting a tactical battle in the Steel Beasts ProPE tank simulation based in a situation taken from the grand-tactical/operational war game North German Plain 85.

Well you may also remember that I was getting help from Koen, a Steel Beasts ProPE expert. He added flesh to the bare bones I sent him and he created a freaking masterpiece! Thanks, Koen for this great scenario and sorry for getting back into this so late (currently experiencing a mix of entry backlogs and real life).

Check out the OPORD for this upcoming battle. The Soviets are throwing everything at us!

This map is clickeable. The area of operations.

These are the orders.
Map is clickeable. Detail of the north portion of the area of operations.
Map is clickeable. Detail of the south portion of the area of operations.

This is going to be quite a challenge. The scenario is so well presented that I'm going to take some time thinking about it.

Accepting suggestions now. What would you do?

Cheers,

Absolutely critical that you determine enemy main effort as soon as possible. Either of the wooded ridges in the north will provide good concealment. Your artillery will most likely shoot on the north corridor. Even if it is a secondary effort (that's where it can do the most good in terms of interdiction). Myself, I would attack via the southern corridor.

As deployed, your tanks seem far too centered on the likely axis of advance. Have a think about a better plan of fighting and withdrawal positions

Why does the RED mech inf use BTRs? A Soviet tank regiment would consist of tanks and BMPs.
