Another Awesome Gift From a Blog's Follower!

This time from Pergite, an autographed Afghan flag along with two uniform patches. I thank you friend for your service and for this incredible gift!

I took a picture before taking everything to the frame shop. The shop owner asked me today what these flags are all about. How do I explain my luck of getting these cool gifts from you guys?

Cheers,

Ever thought about that we actually secretly could be on the payroll of your frame shop owner? ;)

Great that you enjoy the flag, and as it says: "Keep up the good work!"

Wow, very nice JC. The uniform patches are a nice addition.

Cool gifts! The patch seems to have some kind of tigerstripe camo on it, what kind of uniform do they fit on in Afghanistan?

The ISAF/NATO patch is some kind of standard patch that afaik is issued/ordered by NATO, though every country seem to have their own colours on them. The german patch is blue for example. I just find it funny to have NATO printed on my arm, as a non-nato country, especially since the larger NATO countries does not have NATO written on them anywhere. I sort of miss the old ISAF patch though.

Anyway, a swedish newspaper have a slideshow with some nice photos taken this autumn at one of our hotspots.

JC, you should put up a pic of the flags once they're both up on your growing wall of honor. How cool!

Hi tFS!

Yeah, let me see what I can do.

Off topic: how is "that" game coming? :)

Hey there JC! "That Game" is coming along VERY nicely! Still some work to do but there are many many improvements over the CMSF games. All the testers LOVE it. I still have no idea on a release date, but it gets better every day. I think it may be the most popular and most highly rated combat mission game yet. ;)

I shall not be out done. I promise your next gift will be Javalin! Or perhaps a Caiman...

We have rather strict arms and animal exports regulations so I will probably not be able to compete with neither fire-power nor teeth.

Do your significant other need a new burka perhaps? ;)
